GINGER CITRUS SPRITZ

1-inch piece of ginger, peeled and sliced

2-3 tsp honey or maple syrup

2 dashes bitters, optional

3 oz satsuma juice

.75 oz lemon juice 

1 tbs apple cider vinegar

pinch cayenne pepper

Soda water


METHOD

Add a little sugar to a small plate along with the zest of half a satsuma. Rub together to infuse.

Rub a piece of lemon or brush a little bit of honey on the outside of a large glass and roll into the citrus sugar. Set aside.

Place the ginger in a shaker and muddle.

Add the remaining ingredients and stir together until the honey has dissolved.

Add ice to the shaker, secure the top and shake vigorously for 10 seconds.

Pour into the sugared glass filled with ice. Top with soda water and before garnishing with a slice of citrus. Enjoy
